The first section of this book describes the ten-year history of the ISS’s development, including the European contribution. A second section focuses on the technology and integration of the flight systems and ground facilities up to the launch in 2008. A third section covers the use and operation of the ISS up to the time of the book’s publication. Illustrations, photographs and short video clips accompany the descriptive text.
